Program overview

The theme of the19th Annual Conference of the International Society for Bipolar Disorders is “Bipolar Disorders: Advances in Understanding Around the Globe,” and the congress will serve as the hub for a plurality of fresh perspectives and emerging data from leading researchers and clinicians working in diverse settings around the world.
The four-day scientific program running in up to 6 parallel halls will offer interesting educational sessions: Parallel Symposia, Plenary/ Keynote Lecture, Poster Sessions, Brainstorming Sessions, Rapid Communications Sessions and Advocacy Sessions.
 

Learning objectives

After attending this event, participants should be able to:
  •  Address individual needs in compliance with their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) plan.
  • Discuss the latest research outcomes in the field of bipolar disorders.
  • Exchange ideas and knowledge in the field of mood disorders across continents, institutions, and individuals.
  • Describe psychosis dimension in bipolar disorder.
  • Summarize new results from studies in lithium treatment in bipolar disorders.
  • Review the most important aspects of diagnosis and treatment of bipolar disorders.
  •  Identify the opportunities to researchers to present their studies about evidence based medicine in bipolar disorder.
 

Target Audience

19th Annual Conference of the International Society for Bipolar Disorders is the global meeting place for researchers in the field of bipolar and other mood disorders. Because of the diverse, clinically focused educational offering, participants can tailor the curriculum to meet the needs of international clinicians of all levels of experience. Both basic scientists and clinical researchers via short communications and posters; clinicians and other mental health care professionals via keynote sessions, parallel symposia, brainstorming sessions etc.
